get_box_score now reports what each player actually DID, not just what they
    scored.
Asked "did anyone on my team get a touchdown?", the server could only
offer fantasy points, and the honest answer was that it could not tell — from a
    question the data settles outright.

ESPN returns the real stat line and espn_api parses it; this server simply
never forwarded it. Every player in a box score now carries stats in ESPN's
own names — receivingReceptions, rushingYards, passingTouchdowns, and the
    rest of a 136-entry vocabulary.

Only non-zero stats are present, and that is not a size optimisation. ESPN
returns the entire vocabulary for every player, so a wide receiver arrives
carrying passingInterceptions: 0 and ninety more like it. A column of zeroes
reads as a measurement when it is really an absence, and it buries the handful
of numbers that are real. A missing key therefore means it did not happen.

An empty stats object means something different — no line has been posted
yet — and game_played is what separates the two. The tool description says so,
because "he did nothing" and "his game has not kicked off" are the same shape
from here and only one of them is an answer.

The stat line is read from the week that was asked for, which is pinned by a
test: player stats are keyed by scoring period, and reading the wrong key
returns a real stat line for the wrong week — indistinguishable from a correct
answer unless you already know the numbers.
